Confined Space & H2S Entrant Attendant Supervisor
Confined spaces are areas that have openings large enough and so configured that an employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work; has limited or restricted means for entry or exit; and is not designed for continuous employee occupancy. Training is required for all employees who may work in a confined space. The training includes recognition of potentially harmful atmospheres and physical hazards associated with these spaces. H2S training is required for anyone working in the oilfield or petrochemical industry. Hydrogen Sulfide training is required for all workers involved in oil exploration, production and refining. In order to work safely around hydrogen sulfide, you must be aware of its properties and characteristics. This H2S Training program teaches how to recognize when Hydrogen Sulfide is present in the work area and take necessary precautions to work with Hydrogen Sulfide safely. This H2S training helps fulfill the training requirements of API Recommended Practice 49, ANSI Z390.1 and other regulatory standards. Refresher course recommend yearly depending on company policy. Also recommend completing SCBA orientation, medical evaluation and fit testing.
CPR/AED First Aid

Electrical Safety Compliance Training
Upon completion employees will understand key elements of the electrical safety regulation Issued by OSHA. Attendees will develop the knowledge and skills to: understand key elements of the OSHA Electrical Safety regulation; recognize and correctly use key terms and concepts relating to electrical safety; recognize the importance of electrical safety-related work practices; differentiate between qualified and unqualified workers in order to identify appropriate training and protection requirements; identify key elements of a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure; identify the four main types of electrical injuries; identify practices and procedures to protect employees who work on or near electrical conductors and equipment from the electrical hazards associated with this type of work.
Emergency Preparedness
This course is designed to help employees understand the information and preparation techniques that will help them cope in the event of an emergency or disaster. Emergencies may include natural disasters, bomb threats, workplace violence, chemical spills, and fire. What to do before, during, and after an emergency is discussed. Emergency Preparedness is a component of our general safety training.
Ergonomics
Attendees will learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of ergonomic related injuries and how to properly set up or adjust a workstation. Handouts related to office ergonomic guidelines will be provided along with additional information on self assessing your work environment. Course is designed for employees who work in an office setting. Participates will learn to recognize risk factors associated with muscular-skeletal disorders (MSDs), and potential sprain/strain injuries as well as be familiar with the body areas affected. Fire Extinguisher – Fire Watch
Fire extinguisher training is designed to familiarize employees with the types, use, and limitations of operating a fire extinguisher. This training is offered during General Safety Training, or can be schedule for individual department as necessary.

SCBA Orientation
Know the conditions that present respiratory hazards, to include oxygen deficiency, high temperatures, smoke or unburned products of combustion, toxic environments, carbon monoxide, and other gasses, and confined spaces. Know SCBA component parts to include: backpack and harness, cylinder assembly, types of cylinders, cylinder testing, air quality, regulator assembly and face piece assembly. Properly don SCBA within 1 minute with PPC in place. Properly doff SCBA. Know operation and emergency procedures using SCBA. Know how to maintain SCBA to include: daily/weekly/and after use maintenance, monthly maintenance, annual or biannual maintenance, changing and servicing SCBA cylinders. Drills performed: 1. Physical activity with SCBA. 2. Shut off air supply when wearing SCBA, to experience emergency with SCBA.
Flagging Training
This class instructs the student on proper flagging and traffic control, as determined by WISHA standards, and also covers the flagging and signaling rule. American Traffic Safety Services Association, You will be taught professional flagging techniques and proper work zone set-up in accordance with standards and guidelines of the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) Course includes references to the ATSSA flagging work book, MUTCD, work shops, flagging demonstration, video, and powerpoint presentation.
Forklift Training
Training includes the potential hazards associated with forklifts and hand-on operation of the forklift and classroom.
HAZWOPER 8
This course meets the requirements in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight hours of annual refresher training for workers at hazardous waste sites. This course is designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances or health hazards. Topics include HAZWOPER regulations, safety and health plans, hazardous chemicals, safety hazards, air monitoring, medical surveillance, site control, decontamination, personal protective equipment, and respiratory equipment.
HAZWOPER 24 HR
In accordance with Title 8 Section 5192 (e) of the General Industry Safety Orders, Training: Workers on site only occasionally for a specific limited task (such as, but not limited to, ground water monitoring, land surveying, or geophysical surveying) and who are unlikely to be exposed over PELs and published exposure levels shall receive a minimum of 24 hours instruction. In addition, workers regularly on site who work in areas which have been monitored and fully characterized indicating that exposures are under PELs and published exposure levels where respirators are not necessary, and the characterization indicates that there are no health hazards or the possibility of an emergency developing shall also receive a minimum of 24 hours instruction. Certified curriculum includes the following: Names of personnel and alternates responsible for site safety and health; Safety, health and other hazards present on the site; Use of PPE; Work practices by which the employee can minimize risks from hazards; Safe use of engineering controls and equipment on the site; Medical surveillance requirements including recognition of symptoms and signs which might indicate overexposure to hazards; and Site safety and health plans.
H2S PLUS + Awareness just isn’t enough. We provide H2S plus. This H2S Training program teaches how to recognize when Hydrogen Sulfide is present in the work area and take necessary precautions to work with Hydrogen Sulfide safely.
Hazard Communication (HAZCOM)
Hazardous Substance Information and Training Act ( the Right-To-Know Law) requires that all employees be provided with ready access to important health and safety information regarding hazardous substances. Require initial and recurrent training of all employees who perform Work functions covered by the Hazardous Materials Regulations. Any employee whose work directly affects hazardous materials transportation safety is required to have training.
Hearing Conservation
This course is intended for employers and employees alike. It is a comprehensive program that is designed to teach you the basics of a great hearing conservation program. You will learn why you need to have a hearing conservation plan and what is required to be included in the plan by both OSHA and MSHA. Topics include monitoring, employee notification, observation, hearing testing, hearing protection, training, and recordkeeping.
JSA – Job Safety Analysis
Increase the knowledge of hazards in the workplace is to conduct a job hazard analysis on individual tasks. This procedure helps integrate accepted safety and health principles and practices into a particular operation. Each basic step of the job is examined to identify potential hazards and to determine the safest way to do the job. Each person will write a JSA.
Ladder Safety Scaffolding
Stairways and ladders are a major source of injuries and fatalities among construction workers. OSHA estimates that there are 25,000 estimated injuries and as many as 40 fatalities per year due to falls from stairways and ladders used in construction.
Lockout/Tagout
This course provides for procedures for employees who maintain any electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other energy systems, which could unexpectedly start up and cause injury. Authorized employees will isolate and lock and tag the equipment to warn others that maintenance is occurring and equipment cannot be operated.
OSHA 10 Hour General Industry
This classroom course is regarding safety and health topics and OSHA standards, is valuable for employees and supervisors alike. Course includes an introduction to OSHA standards, inspections process and citations. Recordkeeping, walking and working surfaces, degrees, fire protection, electrical, machine guarding and several other subjects will be covered.
OSHA 10 Hour Construction

The PEC Basic Orientation safety awareness course includes both SafeGulf and SafeLand. PEC Basic was designed to take the place of multiple Operator orientations and to give each student a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry, upstream, downstream, onshore or offshore. This one-day program meets API RP 75 & API RP T-1 requirements and provides a basic understanding at an awareness level of certain general safety information that an employee should know before entering a company facility and while performing their assigned work duties. Over 25 of the leading oil and gas operators accept this orientation as it meets their requirements. Upon successful completion of course, each student is issued a picture ID with a unique barcode. Trenching and Shoring
All trenches deeper than four feet are required to have means of protecting the worker in the trench. Various methods exist such as shoring or benching of the trench to prevent a cave-in onto the employee. Training will cover the necessary requirements for this activity. This course will describe in detail OSHA’s Standard - Subpart P - Excavations.
